Job summary

The Hong Kong Council Of Social Service invites a Business Development Manager to lead growth of the eRenteBuy Gerontech Platform. You will drive business development, sales growth, product strategy, marketing initiatives, and platform operations to build a sustainable ecosystem with gerontechnology partners.

This role requires a degree and at least five years in BD, sales, marketing, e-commerce, or platform management. English and Chinese fluency is essential; Putonghua preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree holder with 5+ years in BD, sales, marketing, e-commerce, or platform management.
• Strong partnership development and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Experience in healthcare, ageing services, social services, retail, or technology is an advantage.
• Fluent in English and Chinese; Putonghua is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement business and sales strategies to expand the eRenteBuy platform.
• Build partnerships with gerontechnology suppliers, distributors, retailers, NGOs, and community organisations.
• Lead the team to source and curate innovative, affordable, and quality gerontechnology products.
• Develop product and marketing strategies to increase platform awareness, adoption, and sales.
• Monitor platform performance, sales trends, user engagement, and KPIs.
• Oversee product listings, content updates, and day-to-day platform operations.
• Analyse market trends and user feedback to enhance business performance and customer experience.

Business Development Manager (eRenteBuy Gerontech Platform) (Ref No.: HKCSS/023/2026)

Lead the growth and sustainability of the eRenteBuy Gerontech Platform by driving business development, sales growth, product strategy, marketing initiatives, and platform operations.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement business and sales strategies to expand the eRenteBuy platform.

Build partnerships with gerontechnology suppliers, distributors, retailers, NGOs, and community organisations.

Lead the team to source and curate innovative, affordable, and quality gerontechnology products.

Develop product and marketing strategies to increase platform awareness, adoption, and sales.

Monitor platform performance, sales trends, user engagement, and key business KPIs.

Oversee product listings, content updates, and day-to-day platform operations.

Analyse market trends and user feedback to enhance business performance and customer experience.

Requirements

Degree holder with at least 5 years' experience in business development, sales, marketing, e-commerce, or platform management.

Strong partnership development and stakeholder engagement skills.

Experience in healthcare, ageing services, social services, retail, or technology sectors is an advantage.

Good command of English and Chinese; Putonghua is preferred.

5-day work per week. 21-day annual leave.
