Job summary

Gravitas Recruitment Group Hong Kong seeks a Business Development Manager to drive sales and growth within insurance or banking. The role focuses on broker and client relationships, promoting medical solutions and achieving targets in a fast-paced environment.

Reporting to Head of Individual Sales, you will develop broker strategies, expand broker networks, and work with clients to generate new business opportunities, delivering tailored product solutions and proactive service.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate Degree with minimum 8 years’ related working experience in banking or insurance.
• IIQE Paper 1,2 required
• Excellent communication skills in English and Chinese
• Solid knowledge of Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
• Self-motivated; able to manage priorities and meet tight deadlines

Responsibilities

• Assist the Head of Individual Sales to develop broker strategies
• Act as primary contact point for brokers, providing high-quality service
• Expand existing broker relationships and develop new ones
• Work directly with clients when necessary to secure new business
• Deliver effective product solutions and handle sales enquiries
• Liaise among team members, internal and external stakeholders
• Recommend process improvements to prevent issues
• Support ad-hoc business projects
