Job summary

Dah Sing Financial Group in Hong Kong is seeking an Assistant Manager / Manager, Business Development in the Insurance Broker GI unit. You will identify and explore new business opportunities, mainly for General Insurance, and pitch suitable products and proposals to potential customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Business Administration or related disciplines.
• Professional licensing qualifications in IIQE (Papers I, II, III, and V)
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant insurance experience, with a strong focus on general insurance and business development preferred
• Excellent interpersonal, presentation, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work effectively under pressure.
• Proficient in both spoken and written English and Chinese
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Responsibilities

• Identify and explore new business opportunities (Mainly for General Insurance Business)
• Conduct the needs assessment and pitch the suitable products & proposals to potential customers
• Maintaining strong business relationships with all business partners
• Achieve the sales target as assigned by company
• Carrying out market research with analysis and delivering updates on insurance trends and developments
• Assisting the superior to prepare regular meeting material
• Assisting in enhancing & streamline the workflow of general life insurance business
