Job summary

Michael Page International (Hong Kong) Limited is seeking an experienced Branch Operations Manager in Hong Kong to lead and develop a high-performing branch team. You will manage onboarding, remittance, cash management, and compliance while delivering superior client service to high-net-worth customers.

The role requires strong leadership, English and Chinese proficiency, and a proven track record in banking operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above.
• Minimum 8 years of banking experience with at least 5 years in account opening/maintenance, remittance processing, and cash management.
• Proven supervisory or management experience.
• Strong leadership with track record of driving operational excellence, process improvement, and team performance.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, analytical and numerical skills; customer-focused with stakeholder collaboration.
• Fluent in English and Chinese for professional banking environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop branch staff to achieve business targets while fostering a high-performance and customer-focused team culture.
• Oversee daily branch operations, including account on-boarding, customer due diligence reviews, remittances, cash management and other banking services.
• Act as the escalation point for complex transactions and operational issues, providing expert guidance and ensuring resolutions align with policies and procedures.
• Deliver exceptional post-sales support and relationship servicing to high-net-worth clients, ensuring a seamless and high-quality customer experience.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, risk controls and internal governance standards, while supporting business initiatives and ad hoc projects as required.
