Job summary

AIA in Hong Kong seeks a leader to drive Bank Channel sales and bancassurance strategy, partnering with banks to grow general insurance penetration and revenue. You will shape distribution, oversee the sales team, and coordinate with product, underwriting, marketing, and operations to deliver superior customer outcomes.

The role requires experience in leading bancassurance, strong stakeholder management, and fluency in English and Chinese.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level education or diploma with insurance qualifications is preferred.
• Licensing as an individual insurance agent per Insurance Authority is required.
• Proven experience leading a team and achieving sales targets in bancassurance.
• Proficiency in English and Chinese, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Lead Bank Channel sales to meet company targets for sales, revenue and profitability.
• Formulate bancassurance strategies and annual business plans with partner banks.
• Develop bank partnerships and expand distribution footprint for growth.
• Manage and develop the Bank Channel sales team, including training and performance reviews.
• Oversee sales support, quotes, referrals, and customer enquiries from banking partners.
