Job summary

China Construction Bank (Asia) Corporation Limited in Hong Kong is recruiting an experienced AML Compliance professional to provide advisory support to management and business units on AML/CFT queries and issues.

You will identify improvements in AML processes, coordinate changes due to regulatory updates, and perform CDD/EDD reviews on high-risk and PEP cases, contributing to the bank's strong risk governance and regulatory compliance framework.

Qualifications

• At least 6 years AML Compliance experience in a sizable financial institution and/or regulatory bodies.
• AAMLP/CAMLP/CAMS or relevant qualification.
• Good knowledge of banking operations, products and services.
• Strong command of English and Chinese (Cantonese & Mandarin).
• Proficient in PC skills including MS Word and Excel.
• Detail-oriented, compliant and proactive by nature.

Responsibilities

• Provide advisory support and assistance to management and business units on AML/CFT queries and issues.
• Identify areas for improvement in the AML process/documentation on an ongoing basis.
• Coordinate process changes as a result of regulatory/policy updates.
• Perform CDD and EDD review on new account openings (high risk, PEP, waiver) and trigger reviews.
• Review Policies and Procedural Manuals related to AML/CFT procedures.
• Prepare and provide reporting materials for AMLCC and ad-hoc projects.
• Participate in Institutional Risk Assessment and prepare the assessment report.
• Assist Product ML risk assessment and review.
• Assist the Head/Sub Team Lead of AML Advisory in duties as assigned.

• Provide advisory support and assistance to management and business units on Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Financing of Terrorism ('AML/CFT') related queries and issues
• Identify areas for improvement in the AML process/documentation on an on-going basis
• Coordinate process changes as a result of regulatory/policy updates

Requirements

- Degree holder
- At least 6 years AML Compliance experience in a sizable financial institution and/or regulatory bodies
- AAMLP/CAMLP/CAMS or relevant qualification
- Possession of good knowledge on banking operations, products and services. Self-motivated, independent with good communication and interpersonal skills
- Good command of both spoken English and Chinese (both Cantonese and Mandarin)
- Good written English and Chinese
- Proficient in PC skills including MS Word and Excel
- Attentive to details, compliance and control oriented, diligent and proactive
