Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics or related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in business analysis/strategy roles, preferably in Corporate Banking.
• Solid experience in internal report data management, data reconciliation, dataset standardization and quality control within corporate banking scenarios.
• Proven track record in developing standardized frameworks for operational analysis and performance monitoring.
• Basic understanding of AML regulations set by HKMA and familiarity with banking models and capital markets operations.
• Excellent stakeholder management, influencing, negotiation and communication skills.
• Proficient in English and Chinese; strong Chinese business writing.

Responsibilities

• Develop a standardized business analysis framework for Corporate Banking, covering data on operations, key clients, core products and priority regions.
• Generate regular business analysis reports to evaluate operational trends, identify weaknesses and propose optimization recommendations.
• Administer in-house report data management; standardize data extraction, cleansing, validation and update workflows for corporate banking dashboards & periodic reports.
• Lead localization and implementation of headquarters' product policies to strengthen regulatory framework of Corporate Banking.
• Plan and execute operational reviews, compliance audits and business research requested by headquarter or external authorities; coordinate cross-department collaboration and report consolidation.
• Monitor and evaluate the business performance indicators for Corporate Banking to ensure target achievement.
• Continuously monitor strategic clients, key enterprise clients and priority products; track progress of critical initiatives.
• Develop tracking mechanism to monitor strategic accounts and priority product coverage continuously.

Develop a standardized business analysis framework for Corporate Banking, covering data on overall operations, key clients, core products and priority regions

Generate regular business analysis reports to evaluate operational trends, identify weaknesses and propose optimization recommendations

Administer in-house report data management; standardize data extraction, cleansing, validation and update workflows for corporate banking dashboards & periodic reports, ensure data accuracy, integrity and timeliness for business analysis output

Lead the localization, interpretation and implementation of headquarters' product policies and management mechanisms to continuously strengthen the regulatory framework of Corporate Banking

Plan and execute all operational reviews, compliance audits and business research / studies requested by headquarter, internal parties or external authorities. Coordinate the full process including cross-department collaboration, implementation management and report consolidation etc.

Monitor and evaluate the business performance assessment indicators for Corporate Banking, reinforcing departmental accountability to ensure consistent target achievement

Continuously monitor the status of strategic clients, key large/medium-sized clients, and priority products; track the progress of critical business initiatives to establish a regular supervision mechanism

Develop and establish a tracking mechanism to monitor the strategic accounts, key enterprise clients and priority product coverage continuously

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related discipline
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in business analysis/strategy roles, preferably in Corporate Banking field
• Solid practical experience in internal report data management, proficient in data reconciliation, dataset standardization and quality control within corporate banking business scenarios
• Proven track record in developing standardized frameworks for operational analysis and performance monitoring
• Basic understanding of regulatory requirements, particularly Anti-Money Laundering (AML) regulations set by the Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA) as well as familiarity with banking business models and capital markets operations
• Excellent stakeholder management, influencing, negotiation and communication skills
• Proficient in both spoken and written English and Chinese. Excellent Chinese business writing skill is required.
