Job summary

CITIC Securities International seeks a seasoned professional to cover commodities client markets and design customized investment solutions. You will coordinate with trading, risk, and compliance teams to deliver hedging strategies and maintain robust client relationships.

Responsibilities include client onboarding, post-trade services, and ongoing business development across Hong Kong, Singapore, or London resources. Fluent English and Mandarin are required.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or above in finance, economics, science, or engineering-related fields.
• Experience covering commodities customer markets with overseas resources in Hong Kong, Singapore, or London.
• Fluent English and Chinese (Mandarin) listening, speaking, reading, and writing abilities.
• Strong adaptability and willingness to travel frequently.
• Excellent past work performance and daily conduct.

Responsibilities

• Develop customer markets and commodity trading solutions for financial institutions, corporate clients, and investment institutions.

Job description

• Responsible for developing customer markets, covering the commodity trading needs of financial institutions, corporate clients, and general investment institutions.
• Identify and analyze client demand and investment objectives; design and propose customized products, solutions, and strategies.
• Support distribution of swaps, options, and structured hedging solutions in collaboration with trading and structuring teams; work closely with trading, risk, compliance, and operations teams to ensure smooth execution.
• Regularly revisit existing clients, synchronize client situations and market dynamics internally, address personalized client demands, enhance client retention, and track the entire trading lifecycle.
• Maintain accurate CRM records, pipeline updates, and client activity reporting.
• Participate in industry events and client meetings as part of broader business development efforts.
• Adhere to the compliance/operational risk framework to ensure all regulatory or company policies are complied with.
• Support the launch of new product initiatives, new business model development and new client coverage with the growth of business.
• Involve in all aspects of client on-boarding, trading, post trade services.

Requirements

• Master's degree or above in finance, economics, science, or engineering-related fields.
• Experience covering commodities customer markets, possessing overseas customer resources in Hong Kong, Singapore, or London, and familiarity with the commodity market.
• Strong team collaboration, interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills, with Fluent English and Chinese(Mandarin) listening, speaking, reading, and writing abilities.
• Strong adaptability and stress resistance, capable of independent business development, and able to accommodate frequent business travel.
