Novotel Century Hong Kong is seeking a passionate Assistant Restaurant Manager for Pepino in Wan Chai. You will partner with the Restaurant Manager and Culinary team to supervise daily dining operations, uphold Italian hospitality standards, and drive guest satisfaction in a high-volume setting.

Ideal candidates bring 2–3 years of supervisory experience in hospitality, a warm service mindset, strong leadership, and fluency in English, Mandarin and Cantonese.

Your Role & Responsibilities

As the Assistant Restaurant Manager, you will work closely with the Restaurant Manager and Culinary team to run daily operations smoothly, inspire our team, and deliver genuine Italian hospitality.

• Operational Excellence: Oversee daily floor operations during service, ensuring seamless service standards, efficiency, and guest satisfaction.
• Team Leadership & Development: Lead, coach, and motivate front-of-house staff. Assist with scheduling, training, and foster a positive, collaborative team culture.
• Guest Experience: Build strong relationships with regular guests, handle feedback graciously and professionally, and ensure an inviting ambiance.
• Business & Quality Drive: Support inventory control, POS administration, and hygiene/safety standards (HACCP/food safety compliance).

What We Are Looking For

• Experience: Minimum 2–3 years of supervisory or assistant management experience in a high-volume restaurant or hotel dining outlet (experience in Italian or Western cuisine.)
• Passion for Hospitality: A warm, energetic personality with a high standard for customer service and a genuine love for food and wine.
• Leadership Skills: Strong team-building ability, excellent problem-solving skills, and a proactive attitude on the floor.
• Communication: Fluent in English, Mandarin and Cantonese.
• Flexibility: Able to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required by operations.
