Job summary

Sourcing Services eFinancialCareers is seeking an Assistant Manager, Branch Management (MIS) to join the MIS team responsible for reporting and analytics in retail banking.

You will develop cross-branch performance reports, support incentive design, and collaborate to extract insights from data to drive business opportunities and system improvements.

Qualifications

• Degree holder with 3 years of banking/financial MIS experience.
• Proficiency in MS Excel VBA, MS Access and SQL; dashboard reporting or programming experience a plus.
• Good understanding of retail banking products and services.
• Able to work independently, under pressure, and adapt to change.
• Strong written and spoken English and Chinese; Putonghua preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain sales and services performance reports across regions, districts, branches and individuals for MIS automation.
• Assist design and calculation of staff incentives based on predefined parameters to evaluate incentive programs.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to extract insights from data and identify business opportunities.
• Assist in developing MIS databases and end-user automation; provide UAT support for system changes.
• Provide data analytics support to re-engineer processes and internal controls, including ad-hoc tasks.

Assistant Manager, Branch Management (MIS)

To be a member of MIS team of Branch Management Department, the team member is expected to provide MIS support to business units of retail banking and perform business analysis and KPI reporting.

Main Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain various kinds of sales and services performance reports at levels of regions, districts, branches and individual salespersons for automation of MIS production.
• Provide support with the design and calculation of staff incentive according to pre-defined parameters to evaluate the effectiveness of regular and tactical incentive programs.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to extract business insights from data sets for identifying business opportunities and evaluating the effectiveness of sales campaigns.
• Assist in the development of new system such as MIS database, end user program for automation, and provide UAT support for implementing system changes.
• Provide data analytical support to re-engineer work processes and internal controls, and other ad-hoc assignments.

To meet the challenge, you should have the following qualifications and attributes:

• Degree holder with 3 years of working experience in banking and financial industry in area of MIS, business analytics and sales support.
• Proficiency in MS Excel VBA ,MS Access and SQL is necessary, experience in dashboard reporting or other programming will be a plus (e.g. SQL, VB, Power BI, etc.).
• Good understanding of products and services of retail banking.
• Able to work independently and under pressure, and receptive to changes and challenges.
• Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese, preferably including Putonghua.
