Job description

Responsibilities

• Supervise branch operation team to ensure smooth and efficient day‑to‑day operations with emphasis on quality banking services
• Assist the Branch Manager to achieve the designated business targets through active formulation and implementation of business plans
• Optimize workflow of the supervised business routine, so as to enhance operating efficiency and cost‑effectiveness
• Negotiate, coordinate and work closely with relevant internal and external parties to enhance teamwork
• Develop long‑term banking relationships with customers, identify existing and prospective customers' needs of financial services
• Handle customers’ complaints, monitor the service quality and strive for continuous improvement
• Monitor branch operation to ensure full compliance with the Bank's policies, related banking ordinances, and other regulatory requirements
• Perform other duties as delegated and assigned by the management

Requirements

• Degree holder or above, with qualifications in IIQE & HKSI
• At least 5 years relevant experience in banking, in which at least 1 year management experience
• Strong organizational, analytical and problem solving skills
• Sound knowledge of banking operations and related policies, legal and regulatory requirements
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese, including Putonghua
• Proficient in MS office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Chinese word processing
