Job summary

Dah Sing Financial Group in Hong Kong seeks a Manager, Branch Management (Operational Risk) to join the Sales Optimization & Support Team. You will implement re-engineering of sales/service systems for operational efficiency and oversee risk management, training, and workflow enhancements.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree with 5 years in banking or financial services, strong analytical and coordination skills, and bilingual English/Chinese communication capabilities.

Qualifications

• Oversee risk tools including ORI reporting, KRI/KMM, and CSA.
• Identify potential operational risks and propose mitigation plans.
• Handle staff case investigations and reporting for complaints and incidents for training use.
• Participate in workflow design, guideline prep, system enhancements, and related trainings.
• Assist in drafting, reviewing, and refining staff incentive schemes and recognition programs.

Manager, Branch Management (Operational Risk)

To be a core member of Sales Optimization & Support Team under Branch Management Department, the team member is required to implement the re-engineering of sales and services related system for operational efficiency.

Main Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and execute all training-related activities and programs for the department.
• Manage and monitor departmental operational risk management matters in accordance with internal policies and regulatory standards.
• Oversee and implement risk tools including Operational Risk Incidents (ORI) reporting, Key Risk Indicators / Key Mitigation Measures (KRI/KMM), and Control Self-Assessments (CSA).
• Identify potential operational risks, propose effective mitigation plans, and ensure timely rectification of any control gaps.
• Handle staff case investigation and reporting in relation to complaints and operational incidents and obtain information for use in training programs.
• Participate in the workflow design, including guideline preparation, system enhancement and related trainings.
• Assist the department in drafting, reviewing, and refining staff incentive schemes and performance recognition programs.

Qualifications and attributes

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance or a related discipline, with 5 years of experience in the banking or financial services sector.
• Solid understanding of operational risk management frameworks and tools and knowledge of banking regulations, compliance standards, and internal control requirements.
• Strong analytical skills
