Qualifications

Diploma or degree in logistics, supply chain, business or marketing.
3–5 years experience in logistics, freight forwarding or sales.
Fluency in English and Cantonese; Mandarin a plus.

Responsibilities

Coordinate freight forwarding operations, including documentation and shipment tracking.
Support scheduling and planning of cargo movements.
Liaise with clients, carriers, customs brokers and other service providers to ensure smooth operations.
Develop and execute sales and marketing strategies to grow the client base.
Prepare quotations, proposals and tender documents for potential clients.
Assist with marketing initiatives and client communications.
Maintain records of shipments, clients and market intelligence.
Provide administrative support to senior management.
Identify process improvements to enhance efficiency.

About the role

We are seeking an Assistant Logistics Manager / Assistant Sales & Marketing Manager to join our dynamic team on a full-time basis at our office in San Po Kong, Wong Tai Sin District. This is a pivotal role that bridges logistics operations and business development, offering the ideal opportunity for an ambitious professional to gain exposure across both functions. You will play a key role in supporting the coordination of freight forwarding operations whilst contributing to the growth and promotion of our services in the competitive logistics market. Key responsibilities

Assist in coordinating and managing freight forwarding operations, including documentation, customs clearance and shipment tracking
Support the scheduling and logistics planning of cargo movements to ensure timely delivery and optimal resource utilisation
Liaise with clients, carriers, customs brokers and other service providers to facilitate smooth operations and resolve any logistical challenges
Contribute to the development and execution of sales and marketing strategies to identify new business opportunities and expand the client base
Assist in preparing quotations, proposals and tender documents for potential clients
Support marketing initiatives including the creation of promotional materials, digital content and client communications
Maintain accurate records and databases related to shipments, clients and market intelligence
Monitor industry trends and competitive activities to inform business development strategy
Provide administrative support to senior management and assist with general office operations
Contribute to continuous process improvement by identifying efficiencies and areas for enhancement

What we’re looking for

Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Marketing or a related discipline
3-5 years of experience in logistics, freight forwarding, sales or a related field, either in Hong Kong or internationally
Strong knowledge of logistics processes, including documentation, customs procedures and freight forwarding operations
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain professional relationships
Proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications and willingness to learn logistics management software
Keen interest in sales and marketing with the ability to identify business opportunities and support client acquisition
Strong organisational and time management abilities to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Fluency in English and Cantonese; Mandarin is an advantage
Problem-solving mindset with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment
Familiarity with the Hong Kong logistics market and key industry players is highly desirable
