Job summary

Cointelegraph is seeking a Senior Business Development & Partnerships Manager to drive revenue by identifying, pitching, and closing strategic Web3 partnerships. You will position Cointelegraph’s media, consulting, and event solutions to crypto projects globally.

The role requires 5+ years in consulting or BD, a strong network in Web3, and fluency in English and Mandarin. Remote work with international clients, requiring proactive, strategic thinking and top-tier presentation skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of consulting or business experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of BD experience in Web3, Crypto or blockchain.
• Deep network within Web3, Crypto, and/or blockchain communities.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to engage with C-suite executives.
• Strong presentation skills, capable of delivering compelling pitches.
• Strong strategic thinking and analytical abilities for identifying opportunities.
• Highly self-motivated and proactive; able to work independently.
• Fluency in English and Mandarin Chinese (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Identify and research partnership opportunities within the Web3 ecosystem.
• Generate a robust pipeline of prospective clients through multiple channels.
• Initiate contact with potential clients via cold outreach (emails, calls, social media).
• Communicate value propositions to generate interest and secure meetings.
• Build and nurture relationships with prospective clients; understand their needs.
• Maintain regular client communication about product updates and company developments.
• Prepare and deliver tailored pitches addressing client pain points.
• Track outreach activities and partnership progress.
• Analyze outreach effectiveness and adjust strategies to improve results.
• Stay updated on Web3 trends to position Cointelegraph's offerings.
