Job summary

Roctec Technology Limited in Hong Kong seeks an experienced accountant to manage daily accounting operations, including AR, AP, and GL, with bank reconciliations and reporting responsibilities. The role requires strong English and Chinese communication, and the ability to work under deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Eventual duties include month-end/year-end closings, audit support, and coordination with external auditors.

Qualifications

• Degree holder in Finance or Accounting or related discipline.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and accounting software.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily accounting operations, including AR, AP, GL, bank reconciliation.
• Prepare financial reports, management reports, and audit schedules; liaise with external auditors.
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Assist in statutory audit matters to ensure timely completion and compliance with reporting deadlines.
• Perform ad-hoc tasks as requested.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily accounting operations, including Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), General Ledger (GL), bank reconciliation, and other routine accounting functions.
• Prepare financial reports, management reports, and audit schedules; liaise with external auditors.
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Assist in statutory audit matters to ensure timely completion and compliance with reporting deadlines.
• Perform ad-hoc tasks as requested.

Requirements

• Degree holder in Finance or Accounting or related discipline
• Minimum 3-6 years of relevant experience
• Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel) and accounting software
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese
• Self-motivated, independent, responsible, able to meet required deadline and work under pressure
