Job summary

Asia Airfreight Terminal Co. Ltd.

in Hong Kong is seeking a skilled accounting professional to monitor and control daily Accounts Receivable operations, ensuring accurate entries for AR transactions and supervising billing processes. You will support credit control to improve collection efficiency, perform monthly cash counts, bank reconciliations, and manage full set of accounts for a Mainland China subsidiary, including month-end closings and reporting.

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance or Accounting or related discipline.
• 4–5 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong Excel and accounting software skills.
• Fluent in English and Chinese; good communication.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control daily Accounts Receivable operations and ensure accurate accounting entries.
• Supervise billing processes and follow up on customer payments.
• Support credit control to improve collection efficiency and reduce overdue accounts.
• Perform monthly cash counts and monitor bank reconciliations.
• Handle full set of accounts for a Mainland China subsidiary including month-end closing.
• Coordinate statutory audits and ensure timely reporting.

Monitor and control dailly Accounts Receivable operations and ensure accurate accounting entries for AR - related transactions

Supervise billing processes and follow up on customer payment status

Support credit controll activities to improve colllection efficiency and reduce overdue accounts

Perform monthly cash count and monitor bank reconciliation

Handle full set of accounts for a subsidiary in Mainland China, including month-end closing, account reconciliations and financial reporting

Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes

Coordinate the statutory audit matters, ensuring compliance with reporting requirments and deadlines

Supervisr junior accounting staff and provide guidance on daily operations, handle ad-hoc tasks as requested

Requirements

Degree holder in Finance or Accounting or related discipline

Minimum 4 - 5 years of rellevant experience

Solid PC knowledge, especially in MS Excel and accounting software

Fluency in spoken and written English and Chinese

Independent, reswponsible, detail-oriented and well organized

With the ability to manage priorities and meed deadlines
