Job summary

Goodrich Global Limited, a leading provider of wallcoverings, fabrics, carpets, and flooring materials in Asia, invites qualified candidates for a senior accounting position in Hong Kong. You will lead a small team, manage full-set accounting, and ensure accurate records and timely month-end closes.

Your role includes coordinating with auditors and tax agents, performing variance analyses, and driving system enhancements while supporting new implementations.

Qualifications

• Diploma or above in Accounting, Finance, or related field; professional qualification (HKICPA/ACCA) is an advantage.
• At least 7 years of accounting experience, including supervisory or team-leading experience.
• Fluent spoken and written English, Cantonese and Putonghua.
• Proficient in MS Office and Chinese word processing.
• Immediately available or on short notice.

Responsibilities

• Manage a small team handling full-set accounting including AR, AP, GL, and month-end closing.
• Review and oversee month-end closing, and prepare management accounts with variance analysis.
• Prepare accounting vouchers and maintain accurate records.
• Prepare bank reconciliation statements.
• Reconcile customer account balances and transactions.
• Prepare monthly ageing reports to track overdue accounts.
• Participate in physical stock counts during inventory checks.
• Liaise with auditors and tax agents, and support annual audits.
• Supervise and guide junior team members in daily accounting and administrative tasks.
• Drive process improvement and system enhancement initiatives.
• Take on ad-hoc assignments, including supporting implementation of new systems.
