Job summary

Zung Fu Company Limited in Hong Kong is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our finance team. You will maintain books, prepare statements and budgets, and support audit and tax activities, working closely with department heads.

The role requires a CPA qualification, 6+ years of accounting experience, and strong Excel/Hyperion skills. Mandarin and English fluency are essential; immediate availability is preferred.

Qualifications

• Possess accounting degree with CPA qualification.
• Minimum 6 years of accounting experience; supervisory experience a plus.
• Experience in HK tax filing is advantageous.
• Proficient in MS Excel; Hyperion experience preferred; Chinese typing.
• Fluent in English and Mandarin; able to work with department heads.
• Immediate availability preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain proper books and records and give advice on new business initiatives.
• Produce error-free internal management reports and analyze financial information.
• Prepare financial statements and budget/forecast according to schedule.
• Assist with external and internal audits and tax returns to ensure compliance.
• Review and modify accounting systems and procedures as needed.
• Support the preparation of statutory accounts and manage ad hoc projects.

Job description

• Working with a team in maintaining proper books and records, studying the impact of and providing advices on new business initiatives
• Producing error-free internal management reports and analyzing financial information and summarize financial status
• Preparing financial statements and produce budget/forecast according to schedule
• Assisting with external and internal audits and tax returns to ensure compliance
• Reviewing and recommending modifications to accounting systems and procedures
• Support the preparation of statutory account and managing other ad hoc projects

Job Requirements

• Degree holder in Accountancy with CPA qualification
• At least 6 years of relevant experience in Accounting and experience in supervising a small team is an advantage
• Experience of handling Hong Kong tax filing will be an advantage
• Effectively handle multiple projects simultaneously in a deadline driven environment
• Expect to work closely with department heads of the Company
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, and work with minimal up-front guidance and take ownership of his/her work product
• Organized, accurate and detail-oriented
• High Proficiency in MS Excel, Chinese typing and experience in Hyperion is preferred
• Good command in both written and spoken English and Mandarin
• More experience will be considered as Senior Accountant
• Immediate available is preferred
