Private Advertiser in Hong Kong is seeking a senior accounting professional to lead the Accounting & Finance Department. The role requires oversight of all accounting operations, strategic and detailed execution, and team management to ensure accuracy and efficiency.

Ideal candidates will have 5+ years in accounting, fluency in English and Cantonese, ERP experience, and strong communication with senior executives. The position emphasizes AI-enabled data analysis to boost performance.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting or Finance with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
• Fluency in English and Cantonese.
• Ability to lead an Accounting Department.
• Strong teamwork and independent working capability.
• Detail-oriented with accuracy.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Experience with ERP systems.

Responsabilités

• Oversee all aspects of accounting operations.
• Manage General Ledger and monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
• Manage financial and management reporting including cash flow, budgeting and forecasting.
• Oversee accounts payable/receivable and book-keeping for the company and related subsidiaries.
• Timely review and analysis of monthly financial reports.
• Coordinate stock takes and adjustments.
• Liaise with external auditors and manage audit matters.
• Ad-hoc assignments as required by senior management.

About the role

Responsibilities include oversight of the overall Accounting & Finance Department with responsibility for all aspects of accounting operations. The ideal candidate should have the ability to operate at both strategic and detailed levels, experience in managing other accounting staff and ensuring accuracy and efficiency in delivering accounting tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Responsible for all aspects of the accounting operations
• Responsible for the General Ledger ensuring timely and accurate monthly balance sheet reconciliations
• Responsible for the management of the company's financial and management reporting, which include but not limited to cash flow management, monthly reporting, monthly bankbook, ageing analysis, budgeting and forecasting
• Responsible for general book keeping, settlements, overseeing accounts receivable and accounts payable department within company and related subsidiaries
• Timely review and analysis of monthly financial reports covering balance sheet, profit and loss, internal management reports
• Coordinate stock take and adjustments
• Liaise with external auditors, prepare and manage audit related matters
• Ad-hoc assignments as required by senior management

Qualifications & Requirements

• Degree in Accounting or Finance with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
• Fluency in English & Cantonese
• Ability & Experience to lead an Accounting Department
• Team Player, able to work independently, and strong team collaboration skills
• Perform tasks with diligent attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Applications (Microsoft Outlook, Word & Excel)
• Knowledge of various ERP System
• Excellent interpersonal & communication skills with the ability to build a rapport with senior business executives as well as immediate team members
• Candidates with strong utilization and knowledge of AI to improve efficiency and data analysis will be considered with priority
