Job summary

Roma Appraisals Limited in Hong Kong is seeking a senior finance leader to oversee the Finance department and strategic financial management. The role demands strong IFRS knowledge, investor relations experience, and hands-on leadership across multiple geographies.

You will drive corporate actions, audits, fundraising, and regulatory compliance, while partnering with senior management on growth initiatives and IPO readiness.

Qualifications

• CPA qualification required.

• Handle corporate actions and coordinate with professional parties such as legal counsels and auditors.
• Oversee AP, AR, Tax Compliance, Cash Management, Statutory & Management Reporting, to ensure high quality & efficient operations.
• Represent the accounting & operational finance team in key projects, ensuring right-first-time setup for market expansions and compliance-related projects.

Job description

Responsibilities and Requirements:

In charge of the Finance department and supervising different teams

Responsible for Senior management role of the Finance function, including Investor relations, Fundraising, etc

Experience in Investor relations and audit, Fundraising or IPO is highly preferred

A full-time degree holder with CPA qualifications

Experience of handling full set of accounting books

Equipped with very good people and communication skills

Dynamic with striving for achievements

Possess a strategic mindset and also hands-on experience, with excellent business acumen

Job Responsibilities:

Core Responsibilities

Build and lead a strong accounting & operational finance team, fostering a culture of operational excellence and innovation.

Handle corporate actions and coordinate with professional parties such as legal counsels and auditors, etc

Oversee AP, AR, Tax Compliance,Cash Management,Statutory & Management Reporting, to ensure high quality & efficient operations.

Audit and Financial Compliance

Manage relationships with group and local auditors, ensuring timely and smooth execution of statutory requirements.

Deliver accurate and high-quality financial statements to support seamless audits.

Strategic Initiatives

Represent the accounting & operational finance team in key projects, ensuring right-first time set-up for market expansions and compliance-related projects.

Job Requirements:

Proven leadership in managing and developing high-performing finance teams across diverse geographies.

Strong knowledge of statutory reporting requirements for listed companies and IFRS. Big 4 audit experience with CPA or equivalent is preferred.

Excellent communication skills, with business proficiency in both English and Chinese (Mandarin)

Hands-on and adaptable leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, with a strategic mindset and organizational leadership skills.

Candidates who already have the eligibility to work in Hong Kong will be given priority.
