Job summary

Leadingnation is seeking an Assistant Accounting Manager to lead month-end and year-end closings, consolidate management accounts, and review financial statements. You will assist in quarterly and annual reports, budgeting, and forecasting, while ensuring strong internal controls.

The role requires cross-functional collaboration and timely delivery of analyses. The ideal candidate has 6–8 years’ experience in accounting/audit, supervisory experience, and fluent Cantonese, Mandarin, and English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
• 6–8 years of accounting and audit experience; supervisory experience is a plus.
• Strong Cantonese, Mandarin and English written/spoken skills.

Assistant Accounting Manager

Duties & Responsibilities

• Lead month-end and year-end closing processes, including consolidation and review of management accounts and financial statements.


• Assist in preparing quarterly and annual financial reports, variance analyses, budgeting, and financial forecasting.


• Process sales commission calculations accurately in accordance with company incentive schemes and payroll schedules.


• Coordinate interim and annual audit schedules, ensure compliance with group accounting policies and statutory standards, and support audit-related projects.


• Participate in the implementation and continuous improvement of ERP systems and financial control procedures to drive operational efficiency.


• Act as the central liaison between internal departments, external vendors, and internal/external auditors to ensure seamless communication and alignment.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.


• Minimum 6–8 years of relevant accounting and audit experience. Prior supervisory experience managing a small team is a strong advantage.


• Good command of written and spoken Cantonese, Mandarin, and English.


• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and multi-tasking capabilities. Self-motivated, adaptable, and capable of prioritizing tasks under tight deadlines while working both independently and collaboratively.


• Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel) and Chinese word processing. Hands-on experience with Yon you ERP system is an advantage.


• Immediately available or available on short notice is highly preferred.
