Join is seeking an Assistant Accounting Manager to oversee day-to-day accounting operations, supervise AR and AP, and take direct ownership of the General Ledger and inventory accounting in a fast-paced environment.

The role emphasizes month-end close, accurate financial statements, inventory reporting, compliance and audits, plus driving process improvements and ERP-based automation with strong Excel skills.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
• CPA, ACCA, or equivalent highly preferred.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of financial regulations, reporting standards and accounting principles.
• Proven ability to lead team, manage multiple priorities, and deliver under tight deadlines.
• Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and a collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills.
• Fluency in English and Cantonese is required.
• Proficient in MS Excel and hands-on experience with major ERP systems (knowledge of SAP is an advantage).

Responsabilidades

• Supervise AR team to ensure timely sales reconciliation and cash collections.
• Oversee AP workflow, ensuring meticulous ledger entries, timely vendor payments and expense compliance.
• Month-End Close: Prepare and review month-end closing, reconciliation and supporting schedules.
• Assist in preparing accurate financial statements and management reports.
• Manage inventory accounting and prepare inventory reports.
• Oversee stock movements, cycle counts and annual audits, investigating discrepancies and valuation adjustments.
• Prepare schedules and documentation for internal and external annual audits.
• Drive continuous improvement in automation and system enhancements to streamline workflows and internal controls.
• Manage finance-related projects.

General Role

The Assistant Accounting Manager will be instrumental in overseeing day-to-day accounting operations, supervising the Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) functions, and taking direct ownership of the General Ledger (GL) and inventory accounting.

Responsibilities

Supervision of AR & AP Operations

• Supervise the AR team to ensure timely sales reconciliation and cash collections
• Oversee the AP workflow, ensuring meticulous ledger entries, timely vendor payments and expense compliance

General Ledger (GL) Management

• Month-End Close: Prepare and review month-end closing, reconciliation and supporting schedules
• Assist in preparing accurate financial statements and management reports

Inventory

• Manage inventory accounting and prepare inventory reports
• Oversee all stock manual movements transactions, cycle counts and annual physical inventory audits, investigating discrepancies, shrinkage, and valuation adjustments

Compliance & Audits

• Prepare schedules and documentation for internal and external annual audits

Others

• Drive continuous improvement in identifying areas for automation and system enhancements to streamline workflows and improve internal controls
• Manage finance-related projects
