Job summary

LG Household & Health Care is seeking a senior financial controller to oversee full-set accounting for Hong Kong and Macau, including closing, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. You will supervise the accounting team for AR, AP and bank reconciliation, and produce monthly management reports on sales, inventory, and supply-chain efficiency.

The role requires 8+ years of experience with at least 3 years in a supervisory capacity, plus strong SAP and Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Degree holder in Finance/Accountancy or other related disciplines.
• At least 8 years relevant experience, of which 3 years in supervisory level with a professional accounting qualification.
• Solid financial management experience in Retail industry with multinational company preferred.
• Hands-on experience with SAP and advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, Formulas and data analysis.
• Strong commercial acumen with excellent analytical and communication skills.
• Proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese (Mandarin & Cantonese).

Responsibilities

• Handle full-set accounting and financial operations for Hong Kong & Macau, including month-end closing, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Supervise accounting team on accounts receivables, payables and bank reconciliation.
• Prepare monthly management reports and financial analysis on sales performance, inventory turnover, and supply chain efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal policies.
• Collaborate with management and cross-functional teams to support business decisions and finance initiatives.
• Manage the statutory audit process end-to-end and ensure accurate deferred tax calculations under IFRS/local GAAP.
• Coordinate with external CPA and tax representatives to ensure timely tax return filing and audit completion.
• Prepare quarterly note packages and internal reports for Headquarter; handle company secretarial matters.

Job description

Handle full-set accounting and financial operations for Hong Kong & Macau, including accounting month-end closing, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis

Supervise accounting team on all accounting activities including accounts receivables, accounts payables and bank reconciliation

Prepare monthly management reports and financial analysis on sales performance, inventory turnover, and supply chain efficiency to provide actionable insights for strategic business decisions

Ensure compliance with accounting standards, and internal corporate policies.

Collaborate with management and cross-functional teams to support business decisions and finance initiatives

Perform ad hoc duties as assigned

Manage the statutory audit process end-to-end, coordinating with external auditors and ensuring accurate deferred tax calculations under IFRS/local GAAP.

Manage all corporate tax matters including preparation and calculation. Liaise with external tax representatives to manage and submit tax return filings.

Liaise with service provider to prepare the transfer pricing report.

Coordinate with external CPA firm and tax representative to ensure timely completion of tax return and statutory audit.

Prepare the quarterly note packages and various internal reports for Headquarter.
