Job summary

API Lab Testing in Hong Kong seeks an Accounting Officer to join our Finance team. This hands-on role covers full-set accounting, month-end reporting, and daily finance operations in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include reconciliations, reports, and liaising with auditors. Diploma holders with 1–3 years of experience and bilingual English/Chinese are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Diploma holder or above in Accounting, Finance or related discipline.
• 1–3 years of full-set accounting experience.
• Up-to-date knowledge of accounting standards, taxation and labour regulations.
• Able to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Detail-oriented with good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle full-set accounting activities, including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger and staff reimbursements.
• Prepare month-end financial reports, supporting schedules and account breakdowns within tight reporting deadlines.
• Perform bank reconciliations and intercompany transaction/balance reconciliations.
• Coordinate with internal departments on accounting matters and daily financial transactions.
• Handle petty cash, payments and supporting documentation.
• Maintain accurate filing records, financial documentation and regular reporting.
• Prepare audit schedules and liaise with external auditors, banks and other relevant parties.
• Provide general administrative support and handle ad hoc assignments as required.

We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Accounting Officer to join our Finance team in Hong Kong. This is a hands-on role covering full-set accounting, month-end reporting, audit support and daily finance operations.

Key responsibilities

Handle full-set accounting activities, including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger and staff reimbursements

Prepare month-end financial reports, supporting schedules and account breakdowns within tight reporting deadlines

Perform bank reconciliations and intercompany transaction/balance reconciliations

Coordinate with internal departments on accounting matters and daily financial transactions

Profile

Diploma holder or above in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline

1–3 years of experience in full-set accounting

Up-to-date knowledge of accounting and taxation standards, as well as relevant labour regulations

Able to work independently, manage priorities and deliver accurately under tight deadlines

Proactive, motivated, mature and stable, with a strong sense of integrity and responsibility

Detail-oriented, analytical and well organised

A collaborative team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills

Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel, including PivotTables

Proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese

Experience using Xero is an advantage
