Job summary

AMOREPACIFIC Hong Kong is seeking an experienced accountant to manage the full set of accounts and deliver timely month-end closes, including P&L and balance sheet analyses.

You will perform variance analysis with notes for management commentary and oversee payment processing to vendors, while handling ad-hoc tasks as directed. Strong MS Office skills and SAP experience are essential; retail sector background is a plus.

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance or Accounting; HKICPA/ACCA or equivalent.
• At least 4 years of accounting experience, retail industry a plus.
• Proficient in MS Office; SAP experience preferred.
• Able to handle full set of accounts and financial statements.
• Good communication and ability to work under pressure with tight schedules.

Responsibilities

• Prepare full set of accounts and monthly close including P&L and balance sheet.
• Perform variance analysis, provide notes and management commentary.
• Manage payments and vendor transactions; ensure timely processing.
• Support ad-hoc tasks as instructed by supervisor.

Job description

• Handle full set of accounts and month-end financial statements and report including Profit & Loss (P&L) and balance sheet analysis, as well as variance analysis that supports notes and management commentary in the statutory financial accounts and reports
• Manage accounting function, Payment authorization and processing, validate transactions, and ensure accurate and timely payment of amounts due to vendors
• Assist in ad-hoc tasks, as required/instructed by superior

REQUIREMENTS:

• Degree in Finance or Accounting, certified HKICPA/ACCA or equivalent
• At least 4 years of solid experience in accounting duties gained from Retail industry is a plus
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, experience in SAP execution
• Able to handle full set of accounts
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, can work under pressure with tight schedule independently
