Morgan Philips Hong Kong Limited is partnering with a dynamic investment and holding group in Hong Kong to recruit an Accountant for the finance team. The role offers exposure to property management, financial investment, and philanthropic initiatives.

The candidate will handle full sets of accounts, coordinate with overseas accountants, and support audits and tax computations while ensuring accuracy across diverse entities. Strong English and Chinese communication is essential.

Formación

• Degree holder in Accounting or a related discipline; HKICPA/ACCA qualified (finalist candidates are also welcome to apply).
• At least 3 years of relevant accounting experience across property, investment, and foundation accounting.
• Excellent written and spoken English and Chinese.

Responsabilidades

• Handle full sets of standalone and consolidated accounts, liaising with overseas accountants and service providers.
• Manage accounting operations and reporting across property management, financial investment, and charitable foundation activities.
• Prepare periodic management accounts and financial statements independently.
• Support the annual audit process and collaborate with external auditors.
• Prepare Hong Kong profits tax returns and computations, and research overseas audit and tax requirements.
• Prepare cash flow forecasts, budgets, and variance analyses (actual vs. budget).
• Coach and review the work of Junior Accountants/Accounting Trainees within the team.
• Perform other ad-hoc accounting and finance-related tasks as assigned by management.

Key Responsibilities

Handle full sets of standalone and consolidated accounts, liaising directly with overseas accountants and service providers.

Manage accounting operations and reporting across the group's property management, financial investment, and charitable foundation activities.

Prepare periodic management accounts and financial statements independently.

Support the annual audit process and collaborate directly with external auditors.

Prepare Hong Kong profits tax returns and computations, and conduct independent research on overseas audit and tax requirements.

Prepare cash flow forecasts, budgets, and variance analyses (actual vs. budget).

Coach and review the work of Junior Accountants/Accounting Trainees within the team.

Perform other ad-hoc accounting and finance-related tasks as assigned by management.

Requirements

Degree holder in Accounting or a related discipline; HKICPA/ACCA qualified (finalist candidates are also welcome to apply).

At least 3 years of relevant accounting experience, with an openness to gaining broad exposure across property, investment, and foundation accounting.

Familiarity with listed securities and private investments is an advantage.

Excellent written and spoken English and Chinese.
