Job summary

Hong Kong Job Consulting is assisting a Hong Kong based financial group with multi-family office and external asset manager businesses to recruit a high-calibre Assistant Accountant for the Finance Department.

You will handle full set of books, prepare journal entries and bank reconciliations, process payments, assist with tax computations, audits, and management reporting, and support process improvements as required.

Qualifications

• Higher diploma or Degree in Accounting or related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years' relevant working experience in accounting field.
• Experience in securities firm or financial institution will be an advantage.
• Knowledge of IFRS/HK GAAP and related financial standard/compliance requirement is a plus.
• Proficiency in use of computerized accounting software, Excel, MS Words, Outlook and Chinese Word Processing.
• Experience in accounting software like MYOB or Kingdee is a plus.
• Proficiency in both written and spoken in English and Chinese. Good communication in Mandarin is highly desirable.
• Immediate available is highly preferred.
