Job summary

KHI Holdings Group in Hong Kong is seeking an experienced accountant to join its Treasury department. You will handle full sets of standalone and consolidated accounts, coordinate with overseas accountants, and contribute to financial reporting, audit, tax and cash flow management across property, investment and charitable foundation activities.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting or related discipline.
• HKICPA/ACCA qualified; finalist candidates are welcome to apply.
• At least 3 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Experience across property, investment and charitable foundation accounting is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Handle full set of standalone and consolidated accounts, liaise with overseas accountants and service providers.
• Apply accounting matters across the Group’s property management, financial investment and charitable foundation activities.
• Prepare periodic management accounts and financial statements independently.
• Support the annual audit process and liaise with external auditors.
• Prepare Hong Kong profits tax returns and computations, and research overseas audit and tax requirements.
• Prepare cash flow forecasts, budgets, and actual vs. budget analyses.
• Coach and review the work of Accounting Trainee within the team.
• Perform other accounting and finance-related tasks as assigned by management.

Job description

KHI Holdings Group is a long-established single-family office based in Hong Kong. The Group is engaged in two main business areas: developing and operating real estate projects globally, and managing a sizable multi-asset financial investment portfolio.

The successful candidate will join the Treasury department, report to the Financial Controller, and work in a small team with both finance and accounting responsibilities across the Group’s property management, investment and charitable foundation activities.

This is a hands-on role suited to candidates seeking broad accounting exposure in a stable family office environment, with direct involvement in accounting operations, financial reporting, audit, tax and cash flow management.

Responsibilities

• Handle full set of standalone and consolidated accounts, and liaise directly with overseas accountants and service providers
• Handle accounting matters across the Group’s property management, financial investment and charitable foundation activities
• Prepare periodic management accounts and financial statements independently
• Support the annual audit process and liaise directly with external auditors
• Prepare Hong Kong profits tax returns and computations, and conduct independent research on overseas audit and tax requirements
• Prepare cash flow forecasts, budgets, and actual vs. budget analyses
• Coach and review the work of Accounting Trainee within the team

Requirements

• Degree holder in Accounting or related discipline; HKICPA/ACCA qualified, finalist candidates are welcome to apply
• At least 3 years of relevant accounting experience preferred; candidates seeking broader exposure across property, investment and charitable foundation accounting are welcome to apply
• Some understanding of listed securities and private investments will be an advantage
• Proficiency in the use of Infor SunSystem will be an advantage
• Excellent written and spoken English and Chinese
• Responsible, adaptable, hands-on and detail-oriented
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Able to work independently, learn quickly and meet accounting deadlines
• Immediate availability will be an advantage
