Robert Half Hong Kong Limited, a Hong Kong-based family office, seeks an experienced accountant/finance manager to manage full accounting responsibilities with independence in a small team.

The role covers monthly journal entries, reconciliations, consolidation support, and financial analysis, requiring strong Excel and accounting system skills, plus fluency in English and Chinese (Putonghua preferred).

Qualificações

• 5+ years of relevant accounting experience.
• Consolidation, financial statements, reporting and analysis.
• Understanding of intercompany transactions and eliminations.
• Fluent in English and Chinese; Putonghua preferred.
• Independent worker in a small team with strong Excel and accounting software proficiency.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare monthly journal entries, invoices and bank reconciliations for the Company.
• Review monthly and quarterly financial reporting packages.
• Assist to prepare quarterly consolidation and provide condensed financial statements.
• Track cash flow movements and allocate expenses to projects accurately.
• Identify and implement improvements to the monthly accounting process.
• Assist financial controller in consolidating the Group at quarter end.
• Carry out other duties as requested by the Company or Group.

The Role

• Prepare monthly journal entries, invoices and bank reconciliations for the Company
• Review monthly and quarterly financial reporting packages
• Assist to prepare quarterly consolidation and provide condensed financial statements;
• Be able to track cash flow movements and clearly allocate expenses under the correct project and correct company;
• Identify and participate in various improvements to the monthly accounting process of the Company;
• Assist financial controller in the process of consolidation of the Group at the end of each quarter; and
• Carry out other duties as requested by the Company or any other member of the Group which is appropriate to the role.

Your Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics or related field
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in accounting
• Solid experience in consolidation, financial statements, reporting and analysis;
• Understand intercompany transactions and eliminations;
• Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese, fluent in Putonghua is preferable
• Good knowledge of using Excel, accounting system
• Resilient, able to work in small team environment and independent.
