The role reports to the Financial Controller, requiring meticulous, independent work and fluency in English and Chinese documentation. Immediate availability is an advantage, with a focus on accuracy and regulatory compliance.

Responsabilités

• Handle daily accounting operations for the Hong Kong listed company and its HK and BVI subsidiaries.
• Prepare and maintain full set of accounts, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
• Perform month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Assist in preparing financial information for reporting and disclosure for the listed company.
• Support annual audit and tax-related queries from external auditors and advisers.
• Prepare Hong Kong Profits Tax returns and assist with tax computations and schedules.
• Handle routine tax and compliance matters for HK and BVI entities, with HQ tax dept support.
• Ensure records and filings comply with HK statutory requirements.
• Handle HK bank operations, payments, transfers, and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare bank documents and support KYC/account maintenance requests.
• Liaise with banks on day-to-day banking matters.
• Take on ad-hoc finance tasks as directed by Financial Controller.
• Work closely with external auditors, tax advisers, and company secretarial teams.
• Maintain proper filing of accounting and statutory documents.

We are looking for a hands-on Accountant to join our finance team. This role is responsible for the daily accounting and financial operations of a Hong Kong-listed company and its Hong Kong and BVI subsidiaries. The successful candidate will handle full-set accounts, tax filings, banking matters, and support audit and statutory reporting work.

This is an individual contributor role reporting directly to the Financial Controller. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, able to work independently, and comfortable handling both English and Chinese documentation.

Job Responsibilities

• 1、 Handle daily accounting operations for the Hong Kong listed company and its Hong Kong and BVI subsidiaries.
• 2、 Prepare and maintain full set of accounts, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
• 3、 Perform month-end and year-end closing activities.
• 5、 Assist in preparing financial information for the listed company’s reporting and disclosure purposes, as required.
• 6、 Support annual audit and tax-related queries from external auditors and advisers.
• 1、Prepare and file Hong Kong Profits Tax returns.
• 2、Assist with tax computations and supporting schedules.
• 3、 Handle routine tax and compliance matters for Hong Kong and BVI entities, with support from tax department in headquarters where required.
• 4、 Ensure accounting records and filings comply with relevant Hong Kong statutory requirements.
• 1、 Handle Hong Kong bank account operations, including payments, transfers, and bank reconciliations.
• 2、 Prepare bank documents and support KYC / account maintenance requests.
• 3、 Liaise with banks on day-to-day banking matters.
• 1、 Handle ad-hoc assignments and finance-related tasks as assigned by the Financial Controller.
• 2、 Work closely with external auditors, tax advisers, company secretarial teams, and banks.
• 3、 Maintain proper filing of accounting and statutory documents.

Requirements

• a) Mandarin: able to communicate.
• c) English: able to read and write for work purposes;
• e) Able to handle both English and Chinese documents.
• g) Solid experience in full-set accounts.
• i) Experience in handling Hong Kong Profits Tax filings.
• k) Familiar with Hong Kong bank operations and bank reconciliation.
• m) Proficient in MS Excel and accounting software.

Detail-oriented, responsible, and able to work independently.

Good communication skills and able to work with external parties.

Immediate availability or short notice period is an advantage.
