Job summary

Michael Page (Hong Kong) is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our client's finance team in Hong Kong, taking ownership of the full spectrum of accounting functions for the local operation.

The ideal candidate has a degree in accounting/finance, professional qualifications, at least 5 years of hands-on accounting experience, and a proven ability to handle audit, taxation, treasury, and financial reporting independently.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in accounting/finance or related disciplines.
• Qualified or partly qualified accountant (HKICPA/ACCA/CPA Australia or equivalent).
• Minimum 5 years of solid accounting experience with hands-on full set accounting exposure.
• Experience handling audit, taxation, treasury and financial reporting independently.
• Proficient in accounting systems and Microsoft Excel.
• Good command of English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin).

Responsibilities

• Handle full set of accounts independently for the Hong Kong operation.
