A housing association in the UK is looking for a Facilities Assistant for part-time work covering maternity leave. The successful candidate will perform daily operational tasks, including managing building checks and stock control. Applicants should have strong communication skills and experience in office administration. This role involves being visible in the office to assist colleagues and manage external contractors. The position is based in Camborne, with a working style that promotes work/life balance.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Facilities Assistant to join our Workplace and Facilities team on a maternity leave cover basis. In this role, you will help ensure the smooth and efficient delivery of our building management and workplace services, supporting a safe and welcoming environment for colleagues and visitors.
You’ll be responsible for a variety of operational tasks, including daily building checks, managing stock control for consumables and stationery, and responding promptly to any issues. You’ll also maintain a visible presence across the office, enabling productive collaboration and providing constructive advice where needed.

This is a part-time role working 16 hours per week – Thursday and Friday, "9:00am to 5:00pm" (with some flexibility), office based in Tolvaddon. This role is a maternity leave cover position.
