The salary for this permanent Experienced Social Worker role is up to £41,418 per annum.

1. Provide professional Social Work Services to Adults across Adult Operations and Mental Health Services as required.
2. Promote customer choice and control over their lives.
3. Exercise high-quality judgment in complex, risky, uncertain, and challenging situations.
4. Demonstrate initiative, confidence, and independence in interventions, accessing support when needed.
5. Develop expertise in one or more areas of social work practice, familiar with local resource networks, and be recognized as a reliable source of knowledge and advice by peers.
6. As an employee of Bury Council, ensure safeguarding and promote the welfare of children, young people, and vulnerable adults, protecting them from harm.

1. A Social Work Qualification or equivalent.
2. Understanding of relevant legislation.
3. Registered or eligible for registration.
