Job description

Head of Marketing

Location: Remote-first, with regular access to our central London office

Reporting to: Director of Growth & Partnerships

About Enroly

Enroly is transforming the international education sector, for universities, students, and the agents who connect them. Our platform streamlines the journey from offer to arrival, bringing every stakeholder into one place to collaborate, track progress, and get things done.

For universities, we remove bottlenecks in CAS issuance, visa processing, payments, and compliance, cutting admin time, reducing errors, and protecting against risk. For students, we make starting their studies overseas simpler and less stressful, giving them clear steps, real-time updates, and a better first impression. For agents, we provide the visibility and tools they need to support their students effectively.

Trusted by over 80 universities and partners worldwide, Enroly is part of the infrastructure that keeps international education moving. By connecting stakeholders and embedding compliance into every step, we help the sector grow sustainably, adapt to policy change, and deliver a better experience for everyone involved.

About the Role

We’re looking for a hands-on Head of Marketing to lead and inspire our small but mighty team across product, events and field marketing and data-driven comms. You’ll be the player–coach who keeps the wheels turning day-to-day while also guiding the team to deliver high-impact campaigns, PR wins, and content that build awareness, engage our audience, and drive pipeline.

You’ll have a clear point of view, know how to turn product features into stories that resonate, and be comfortable moving between strategy, oversight, and hands-on delivery. One day you might be reviewing a launch plan with our Product Marketing Manager; the next you’ll be refining a press release, shaping an event agenda, or ensuring customer comms hit the right note.

Higher Education or EdTech experience is essential, as is your ability to connect features to benefits, spot opportunities, and make our brand stand out in the right places.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership & Player–Coach Delivery

  • Lead, mentor, and support the marketing team (Product Marketing, Events & Field Marketing, Marketing/Data Analyst) with a balance of oversight, coaching, and hands-on execution.
  • Run weekly planning meetings, set clear priorities, and ensure cross-team alignment to hit deadlines and KPIs.
  • Actively step in to deliver work when needed, from campaign copy to event logistics.

Product Marketing Oversight

  • Provide direction and feedback on product positioning, messaging, and launch plans
  • Ensure product features are translated into clear, benefit-led stories for customers, prospects, and partners.
  • Support development of sales enablement toolkits, launch content, and product-focused thought leadership.

Strategic PR, Policy & Thought Leadership

  • Own and manage PR activity from concept through execution, post-activity reporting, and ROI analysis.
  • Work with leadership to incorporate Enroly’s point of view into sector and policy conversations.
  • Build journalist and influencer relationships across Higher Education and EdTech.
  • Leverage exclusive data to fuel PR, content, and thought-leadership initiatives.

Events & Customer Engagement

  • Oversee the end-to-end events programme, from webinars and industry panels to invite-only roundtables, ensuring they’re on-brand, on-budget, and high-impact.
  • Support Customer Success with targeted communications to drive adoption, satisfaction, and renewals.
  • Lead marketing support for partnership upsell campaigns and joint promotional activity.

Performance Tracking & Continuous Improvement

  • Measure and report on the ROI of PR, events, product launches, and campaigns, including share of voice, CAC for events, and pipeline contribution.
  • Use insights to make tactical adjustments and share learnings across the team.
  • Maintain the marketing calendar and ensure effective sequencing of activity.

Brand, Tone & Message Consistency

  • Maintain and evolve Enroly’s tone of voice across all channels, embedding it in team outputs.
  • Ensure visual identity and messaging are consistent across campaigns, PR, product content, and events.

About You

  • You’ve led small, multi-discipline marketing teams and know how to balance oversight with rolling up your sleeves.
  • You understand the power of product marketing and how it fuels awareness, engagement, and pipeline
  • You have a track record of delivering, or overseeing PR and events that create conversation and measurable results.
  • You use data and insights to make decisions and seize opportunities.
  • You write and edit with clarity, confidence, and a strong sense of brand.
  • You thrive in a fast-moving environment, working collaboratively and proactively with other teams.
  • You know the Higher Education or EdTech landscape.

What We Offer

  • A collaborative, supportive environment where your work directly shapes our brand, voice, and impact.
  • The opportunity to lead a high-energy team working on high-profile industry events, thought leadership, and innovative campaigns.
  • Competitive base salary and performance-based bonus
  • Workplace Pension Plan
  • Group Life Insurance scheme
  • Group Individual Private Healthcare Insurance scheme
  • Annual Flu vaccinations and eye examinations
  • Cycle to work scheme
  • Discounted Gift cards via employee Benefits choice
  • Annual equipment/furniture allowance for remote Home-Office working
  • Opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the UK’s international higher education landscape
  • Dynamic and supportive remote-first working environment
  • Significant opportunities for progression and professional growth
  • Access to cutting-edge technology and a collaborative, values-led team
