Job Description:
Overview
Key Duties (including but not limited to):
- Regular interaction with senior management of (re)insurers and attending company meetings, with support from senior colleagues, to gather relevant information for credit assessment.
- Conduct ongoing surveillance of assigned portfolios and develop industry knowledge, including identifying key trends and issues affecting the portfolios.
- Present analysis at rating committees, participate in discussions, and contribute to internal and external reports on market issues and trends.
Occasional international travel may be required for this role.
Qualifications required:
- Bachelor's degree is the minimum requirement.
- Additional relevant professional qualifications (e.g., MSc, MBA, CFA, ACA/ACCA, Actuarial) are advantageous.
Experience required:
- Knowledge of the insurance market and principles of finance and accounting.
- Experience in financial analysis, preferably within the insurance industry, financial services sector, or consultancy.
