Job summary
A well-established engineering company in Bury St Edmunds seeks an Electronics Engineer to design, maintain, and support electronic systems for various products. The role involves collaborating with mechanical and software teams to deliver high-quality engineering solutions. Candidates should have a degree in Electronics Engineering and experience with PCB design tools, along with a strong understanding of EMC and troubleshooting electronic circuits. Competitive salary offered between £30,000 - £40,000.
Qualifications
- Degree in Electronics Engineering or equivalent experience as an Electrical/Electronics Technician.
- Experience using PCB design tools.
- Familiarity with embedded systems and I²C, SPI, UART.
- Experience designing electronics for instrumentation and automation.
Responsibilities
- Build and test prototype and production‑level electronic assemblies.
- Carry out fault‑finding and root‑cause analysis on electronic systems.
- Support verification and validation activities including EMC testing.
- Work with manufacturing teams to resolve electronic issues.
- Provide technical support for production and service issues.
- Produce and maintain technical documentation.
