A healthcare provider in Kent is seeking a Consultant Psychiatrist in Rehabilitation Psychiatry to deliver high-quality clinical services and contribute to strategic development. The role requires MRCPsych or equivalent, GMC registration, and Approved Clinician status. The successful candidate will support the recovery of individuals with complex needs, work collaboratively with the team, and participate in evaluation and planning of services. As a Consultant Psychiatrist in Rehabilitation Psychiatry based at Albion Place in Kent, you will be responsible for delivering a high-quality clinical service and actively involved in the strategic development of the team and broader services.
The Kent and Medway Community Rehabilitation Service provides care for those residing in Maidstone, Tonbridge, Malling, Tunbridge Wells and Sevenoaks and will specialise in working with people whose long-term complex needs cannot be met by a general adult mental health service.
Successful applicants will ideally have MRCPsych or equivalent and be on, or within six months of inclusion on, the Specialist Register. You will be fully registered with the GMC, and have Approved Clinician status and S12 approval under the Mental Health Act (or achieve this within 3 months of appointment).
