Position: Project Manager

Location: Midlands area

Role: Home working with travel expected for meetings & site visits

Other: In office at the Mitie Birmingham site once a fortnight

Mitie has a new opportunity for an experienced and motivated Project Manager with a background in Construction or Facilities to join their Project Team.

1. Managing contractors and stakeholders, attending meetings and providing project updates
2. Reviewing works arising and contributing to Life Cycle Plan/Planning
3. Continuously risk assessing projects and implementing mitigating actions
4. Ensuring all projects are completed on time, within budget, and with margin improvements where possible through resource and procurement efficiencies
5. Maintaining and monitoring project plans and structures
6. Writing project status reports for escalation
7. Preparing data and presentation materials for meetings
8. Overseeing the monitoring of related sub-contractor performance

1. Demonstrate clear and visible leadership
2. Understanding of statutory regulations related to CDM
3. Holding a current Full UK driving license
4. Good knowledge of project management approaches
5. Good knowledge of budgeting and resource allocation procedures
6. Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision
7. Well organized with good time management skills
