The ideal candidate will have significant experience in the retail automotive sector, excellent IT and interpersonal skills, and a proactive approach to financial reporting.
Job Title: Dealership Accountant
You will produce accurate and timely monthly management accounts and balance sheets for the Dealership, including franchise-specific consolidation packs. Prepare management reports on a periodic and ad hoc basis as requested. Liaise with Senior Financial staff to ensure they are fully aware of all financial issues. Prepare and submit the Manufacturer's Composite data and assist operational management in preparing necessary reports and data. Work closely with Line Managers to enhance their performance.
Requirements include significant experience within the retail automotive industry, good IT skills, with a sound knowledge of Excel and Dealer Management System. Experience in a robust, well-controlled financial environment, with the ability to prioritize workloads efficiently. Deliver results in a timely fashion, work on own initiative, and maintain high accuracy and attention to detail. Strong team leadership and supervisory skills, excellent interpersonal and communication skills with both financial and non-financial staff. Build strong relationships with management, drive ongoing process improvements, and have a flexible approach to working hours in line with business needs.
Company car is in addition to salary.
