Due to continued expansion, I am working with a leading transport company who are looking for a forward-thinking, solution driven transport planner to join their team
- Plan loads activity based on priorities (orders, location, etc)
- Monitor customer requests, allocate jobs and issue instructions
- Keep up to date with transport issues and deal with changes to the day\'s schedules
- Communicate fleet availability and issues
- Liaise with drivers and colleagues to ensure on time collections and deliveries
- Pre-brief and de-brief drivers on their daily runs throughout the day
- Other adhoc duties
