Due to the exciting expansion in manifestation and growth we are happily experiencing, the Network & Telecommunications team is looking for a Network Engineer. As the Network Engineer, you will report to the Director of Information Technology. The position involves implementing distributed applications, ensuring network authentication, and assisting with network security design and implementation. We seek someone passionate about their contribution to the organization. This position requires direct feedback and consultation with development engineers on problem resolution.

Required Skills:

• Maintains data, voice, or video network hardware and systems; investigates and resolves network and hardware issues; researches, analyzes, isolates, and resolves errors; assesses and updates older networks as needed.
• Provides technical support for data, voice, or video networks for internal and external teams; answers technical questions; recommends and implements solutions. Provides technical leadership for problem escalation and resolution.
• Installs and maintains network hardware, software, and systems for small to medium networks; installs network applications; maintains, tests, researches, and resolves problems.
• Designs, implements, and maintains LAN, WAN, and voice systems; prepares network diagrams and documentation.
• Provides leadership and guidance to less experienced personnel.
• Prepares proposal documentation, cost analyses, and vendor comparisons for cost-effective operations.

Technical Experience:

• Experience in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/jQuery/JSON, PHP5, SQL (MySQL), Scala (desired).

Education and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent; minimum 6 years of related experience.

Communication: Effective communication skills to identify needs, evaluate solutions, and facilitate team interactions. Ability to present information clearly and tactfully, resolve issues promptly.

Teamwork: Facilitates effective team interactions, appreciates contributions, and utilizes team members’ potential.
