The role requires reporting faults and maintaining high service standards for the rail network.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in maintenance role involving CCTV, SISS, and telephony systems is preferred.
  • Understanding of network systems is advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out daily reactive maintenance on SISS and telephony systems.
  • Perform planned maintenance activities as directed by the Team Leader.
  • Report and resolve communication faults in SISS assets.

Job description

The successful Rail Systems Maintenance Technician Level 3 will be responsible for carrying out reactive and corrective maintenance activities on CCTV, CIS, PHP, PAVA, SISS (Station Information and Security Systems). The role is to work Monday to Friday days and cover TOC stations across West London and along M3 / M4.

SISS is essential to ensuring the travelling public are correctly informed and safe as they commute across our customer's rail networks, our maintenance service is critical to functioning of these systems

Rail Systems Maintenance Technician, what you'll do :
  • Daily reactive maintenance activities across SISS and Telephony systems (CCTV systems, IP Networks, Help Points, Screens, Public Address, CIS, PAVA and Wi-Fi)
  • Daily, weekly, monthly and annual planned maintenance activities as defined by the Team Leader
  • Ensuring SISS assets are well maintained, and station communication faults are reported and fixed
  • Utilising field IT equipment to provide real time corrective and planned maintenance data
  • Provide detailed reports to enable further investigations of referred faults
