Job Summary for Head of Operations:

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Head of Operations to lead and oversee all operational activities within a growing business. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing multi-utility operations, with a proven track record of optimizing processes, ensuring successful project delivery, and improving customer satisfaction across various sectors. You will be a natural leader, capable of managing teams, driving efficiency, and ensuring the operational success of the business.

Key Responsibilities for Head of Operations:

1. Oversee and manage all day-to-day operations within the multi-utility sector, ensuring the successful delivery of infrastructure projects and services to residential, commercial, industrial, and renewable clients.
2. Collaborate with the senior leadership team to develop and implement operational strategies aligned with the company's goals and objectives.
3. Lead large-scale utility projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality and safety standards. Manage risks and troubleshoot issues during project delivery.
4. Continuously evaluate and improve operational processes, implementing best practices to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service delivery.
5. Build, lead, and motivate a high-performance operations team, focusing on talent development and fostering a collaborative, innovative environment.
6. Ensure compliance with industry regulations, health and safety standards, and internal policies to maintain a safe working environment for all employees and clients.
7. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders, ensuring customer satisfaction and delivering tailored multi-utility solutions.
8. Manage operational budgets, monitor expenditures, and implement cost-effective measures while maintaining quality standards.
9. Provide regular updates to senior leadership and stakeholders, highlighting key operational metrics, challenges, and achievements.

Key Skills and Competencies for Head of Operations:

• 5-10 years of senior operations management experience within the utility, construction, or infrastructure sectors, focusing on multi-utility services (electricity, gas, water, telecom).
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, improve performance, and deliver high-quality results.
• Extensive experience overseeing large, complex projects from initiation to completion.
• Track record of implementing process improvements to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance client satisfaction.
• Deep knowledge of industry regulations, compliance standards, and health and safety practices.
• Experience managing budgets and making data-driven decisions to achieve cost savings.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging and influencing stakeholders at all levels.
• Adaptability to changing market conditions and a proactive, solution-oriented approach to operational challenges.
