The client

This is a first-class opportunity for an experienced Production / Operations Team Leader with an exciting and innovative organisation producing bespoke spirits for the UK and European markets.

The role – Backshift Production / Operations Team Leader

You will have a varied role and will be responsible for ensuring product throughput and quality are maintained for a range of drinks products. Your duties and responsibilities will include;

  • Operating and managing the operation of production machinery to meet company production throughput requirements
  • Monitor and control the production/assembly line to ensure smooth running of production equipment
  • Recruitment, mentoring and development of operational / production staff
  • Ensure production throughput meets company targets in relation to quality, delivery and cost
  • Ensure production throughput meets company, client and regulatory requirements
  • Store goods and raw materials safely
  • Ensure all works are undertaken effectively and to meet all relevant Health and Safety requirements
  • Assist all stakeholder groups in relation to company continuous improvement activities

A highly professional, reliable and experienced Production Team Leader / Supervisor, you will be able to demonstrate proven experience leading and managing shift operations and all associated production duties within the Food or Drinks sector, previous experience within alcoholic product production would be preferred.

You will have a strong work ethic and attention to detail and will be well versed working within a small team to achieve company production requirements. The hours of work will be initially on a backshift work pattern, Monday – Friday, 4.00 – 11.30pm with a view to reverting to a day shift role as production operations grow.
