Job summary

Permanent
Full-time, 37.5 hours per week (Monday – Sunday rota)
Bath, Somerset
- Provide safe, compassionate, and dignified care to patients before, during, and after endoscopic procedures.
- Deliver high-quality nursing care and support the unit in maintaining JAG accreditation standards.
- Supervise and mentor junior staff, promoting teamwork, professionalism, and clinical excellence.
- Communicate effectively and empathetically with patients, families, and colleagues to ensure clear understanding of care pathways.
- Support departmental leadership, including delegation, decision-making, and staff management when required.
- Contribute to patient triage, pre-assessment, nurse-led consent, and multidisciplinary collaboration for efficient service delivery.
- Have the right to work in the UK.
- Hold a valid NMC registration.
- Possess a minimum of two years’ post-qualification experience, ideally within a endoscopy setting.
- Demonstrate evidence of continued professional development (CPD).
