This is a role based in our new Soho Place office – opened in 2023 - in the heart of Central London and home to our Research Lab.

The Role

We are seeking a Software Engineer to join our Tick Analytics Group and provide raw and aggregated time series market data to Research and other relevant Functions within G-Research.

Key responsibilities of the role include:

• Contributing to the evolution and successful operation of a world-class trading system for client use
• Designing and building solutions that drive value for our petabyte-scale data platform
• Continuously exploring and developing solutions to improve data and compute throughput at scale
• Demonstrating software engineering best practices

Most of our systems are written in Kotlin, but we also heavily use C# and Python. We utilise modern web, distributed and big data technologies, meaning we have a broad range of software engineering challenges for the right person.
