VANRATH are assisting with the recruitment of a Junior Transport Manager for a major company that specialises in Supply Chain.
This is a Full-time position - Monday - Friday.
Permanent position - Location: Randalstown
Salary: Negotiable + Fantastic Benefits package & Growth Opportunities
- Managing driver hours, Working Time Directive compliance, and addressing behavioural issues.
- Overseeing CPC training and maintaining driver records.
- Reporting and documenting incidents and accidents.
- Recording driver health and safety training.
- Coordinating with insurers to ensure full coverage and proper incident reporting.
- Ensuring accurate waste management documentation.
- Inspecting, maintaining, and managing lease vehicles.
- Handling purchase, sale, and disposal of vehicles and trailers.
- Using digital systems for fleet tracking and fuel card management.
- Conducting driver onboarding and licence checks.
- Maintaining the company\'s Operator\'s Licence.
- Keeping waste collection permits valid and driver docket books accurate.
- Experience in similar role
- Exceptional communication skills
- Able to build and sustain strong relationships with peers and client business leaders.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong IT skills
