ZET's approach uniquely targets both internal and external barriers hindering Zimbabwean children from receiving a comprehensive education.With a 'dual focus' strategy, ZET strives to enhance educational infrastructure within Zimbabwe while simultaneously uplifting the socio-economic well-being of children and youth beyond the classroom. By addressing these key areas, ZET aims to break the cycle of adversity, creating a positive ripple effect that ensures children stay in school and out of poverty. Our projects include securing birth registration documents, vocational training for vulnerable young women, teaching sexual and reproductive health and much more.The RoleZET is seeking a proactive, highly organised individual with a passion for international development and a flair for fundraising and communications to join their small team. You will be supporting the charity in three essential areas: Fundraising, Operations & Administration, and Marketing & Communications. A key focus of this role will be submitting grant applications for trusts and foundations, but candidates with expertise in other disciplines such as admin, operations and marketing are also encouraged to apply.Key Responsibilities:Researching suitable grant opportunities from trusts and foundationsWriting and submitting grant applications (initially <£10k, with scope to progress to larger applications)Maintaining and updating the charity's Salesforce CRM recordsManaging ZET's social media accounts (working with our LinkedIn lead)Developing social media content in collaboration with project partnersWriting and distributing a regular newsletterMaintaining and updating the new ZET websiteWorking with partners in Zimbabwe to gather monitoring and evaluation dataDrafting reports for major funders and writing final reports for smaller grantsAssisting in preparation of board meeting papers and tracking board actionsProviding support for the ZET Ambassadors programmeOther tasks according to your skills and the needs of the organisation This opportunity is perfect for individuals seeking a flexible work arrangement.
