Service Care Solutions is partnering with an established UK ADHD service to recruit an experienced Psychiatrist for specialist assessment and diagnosis support. This is a contract opportunity.

Location: Nationwide, UK

Rate: Up to £1200 per day, outside IR35

Contract: Flexible

Type: Remote

Working days/hours: Monday to Sunday, 8am to 8pm

Flexibility: Hybrid role with face-to-face and virtual work, flexible within operational hours (08:00-20:00), 7 days a week.

Working pattern: Open to negotiation. Clinic-based with administrative support. Hours flexible across the week. Responsibilities include adult ADHD assessments and medication initiation via electronic prescribing. No on-call duties outside working hours.

Main Duties: Collaborate with clinical team to assess, diagnose, and treat adult patients with potential ADHD in a multidisciplinary setting.

Main Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations using interviews, questionnaires, behavioral assessments, and collateral information.
• Differentiate ADHD from conditions with overlapping symptoms such as anxiety, depression, learning disabilities.
• Utilize diagnostic tools like DSM-5.
• Maintain detailed, confidential records of evaluations, treatment plans, medication routines, and progress.
• Refer patients to relevant services as appropriate.
• Develop personalized treatment plans addressing individual needs.
• Support independent medical prescribers in monitoring ADHD medications.
• Assist in evaluating medication effectiveness and making adjustments as needed.

Requirements:

• GMC registration with a license to practice and on the specialist register for psychiatry.
• Medical Degree - MRCPsych.
• Experience in ADHD assessment, diagnosis, and treatment.
• Direct pay process from end client.
