Job summary
A leading technology company in the UK is seeking a Senior RF Antenna Designer to lead the design and development of implantable electronics. The ideal candidate will have over 8 years of experience in RF electronics design and be well-versed in BioMedical standards and wireless communication protocols. Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years of experience as an RF Electronic Engineer focused on embedded electronics design.
- Expertise in BioMedical and EMC standards required.
- Experience in RF Schematic Capture and PCB layout design is necessary.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop implantable electronics and controller devices.
- Select and design antennas, ensuring compliance with relevant standards.
- Perform frequency analysis and simulation for worst-case conditions.

- Antenna Selection and Design
- Design and Develop RF Transmission Circuit
- BioMedical and EMC standards expertise
- Failure analysis; design of test protocols; device testing & test reports; product validation
- Perform frequency analysis and simulation for boundary case or worst-case conditions
- Documentation of specifications, requirements, etc.
- Bachelor / Masters / PHD in Electronic Engineering
- Minimum 8 years of experience as an RF Electronic Engineer with an emphasis on embedded electronics design
- Experience in RF Antenna Design and analogue power circuits
- Experience in Wireless Power Transmission is ideal
- Experience with wireless communication protocols
- Experience with RF Schematic Capture, PCB layout design (Altium) and manufacturing process
- Experience in Electronic BioMedical Safety Standards
- Experience with simulation tools such as LT Spice / PSpice
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
